Middle School Student Council Members Attend Regional Student Council Workshop

The student Council at Vestal Middle School hosted its second annual Regional Middle School Student Council Conference on Thursday, December 1, 2016. The theme of this year's conference was "Anything is POssible". The regional conference is an opportunity for local students in grades 6-8 to learn more about leadership roles, share ideas and build relationships with other students in the region. 

Students from 16 local middle schools attended the conference where Dr. Jason Andrews, superintedent of Windsor Schools, was the keynote speaker. In addition, group sessions were led by presenters from other school districts on topics such as "Success is a Lifestyle," Navigating the Peaks and Valleys of Life as a Leader" and more. The Maine-Endwell Little League World Champions, who spoke about "anything is possible".
