As Windsor Central School District Continues its mission to prepare students for successful college and career experiences, we are pleased to inform you of our participation in the College Board's Suite of PSAT and SAT assessments using the SAT School Day Program. This program began in a pilot stage during the fall of 2015.

Through this new and unique partnership with the College Board and Khan Academy, Windsor students in grades 8-11 will be offered annual PSAT and SAT assessments at no cost during the regular school day in their own school building.

When are theses assessments administered?

Free SAT Practice Powered by Khan Academy

In 2015, Khan Academy released an interactive and personalized practice program for the redesigned SAT. This program provides personalized tutorials on test content, thousands of practice problems, official SAT practice questions, full-length tests and comprehensive reporting for students. While this tutorial can be used at home, the administrative team in the Windsor Central School District is working to ensure that students also have the opportunity to use the high quality teaching tool during the regular school day. Additionally, teachers will have access to student data to assist in informing instructional decisions and further preparing students for the redesigned SAT, college and career.
