Statement Regarding Non-Credible Threat

Wednesday afternoon, it was brought to the school district’s attention that threatening remarks were made on social media by a middle school student. The district immediately started an investigation in cooperation with law enforcement.  The New York State police determined Wednesday night there was no credible threat.  The district is continuing to follow internal procedures in relation to this event and we would like to thank law enforcement for their quick response and assistance.
