Renovated Knights Closet Open

The renovated Knights Closet is up and running at Windsor Central Middle School.

The Knights Closet is a place within the school for students to go if they need clothes or hygiene resources. These clothes consist of t-shirts, tank tops, long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, sweat shirts, jackets, coats, jeans, shorts, joggers, and leggings in all sizes for all genders.
To access the Knights Closet, students should ask their school counselor. They’ll schedule a time to take the student to the Knights Closet to get whatever they need.

“Clothing, hygiene supply, and food resources such as the Knights Closet, are an important part of the Community Schools Strategy in our district to ensure that student’s basic needs are met so they can focus on learning when they are in the classroom,” said Windsor CSD Community Schools Coordinator Katelyn Lapan.

There are two rules for the Knights Closet: only take what you need, and treat the Knights closet as if it was your own to keep it tidy.

You can donate by bringing items to the Windsor Central Middle School office. The school needs the following items for the closet:
leggings and joggers of all sizes, men’s small tops and bottoms, women’s xl and xxl tops and bottoms. There is also a need for
travel/small size toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
