Alexis Durdon Commits to Tiffin University

Windsor Central High School senior Alexis Durdon is committing to Tiffin University to wrestle and study forensic psychology.
Durdon is the first athlete from Windsor’s girls wrestling program to commit to compete at the collegiate level.

Durdon has wrestled for Windsor for two seasons, finishing fourth in the state both years. She has also won a Section IV championship, is a two-time STAC champion, state freestyle champion and wrestled at the Fargo Junior Nationals in Fargo, ND last summer. Durdon has played volleyball and softball as well as wrestled.

“It really means a lot to me. It’s really exciting. It’s just something that’s never happened before. It’s something I hold close to my heart but it also is very special because there are so many girls that are going to be able to achieve what I achieved because we had a girls wrestling program,” said Durdon.

In addition to her success in athletics, Durdon has been a member of the Varsity Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society. She has also been a High Honor Roll student.
