Windsor FFA students competed in their first-ever Career Development Event (CDE) in the Jr. Tool Id category. Congratulations to Neela McCombs for finishing in 2nd place and Carson Terrell for finishing 7th. They earned spots on the Junior Tool Id State team, representing Windsor at the state competition on May 7th at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
In addition to Neela and Carson, Charlotte DePersis, Nathan Slesinsky, Ella Wharton, and Finely Edwards also earned places on the team based on their scores and will participate in the state competition.
“We are incredibly proud of all the students who participated in the event. Their effort, teamwork, and determination truly made us Windsor proud. Congratulations to each and every one of them, and best of luck to our state competitors,” said Windsor agriculture teacher Jessica Swingle. “A special thank you to the sponsors who donated such amazing prizes and of course Penn Yan Academy who hosted making this an amazing day for everyone.”
