Windsor Counselors Present at Statewide Counseling Conference for First Time
In November, Windsor counselors presented at the New York State School Counseling Association Conference for the first time, a milestone for the Counseling and Career Center and Windsor CSD.
Heather Noyd and Amy Giblin presented their workshop, “Building Belonging,” showcasing the innovative ways Windsor supports new students and families through the New Student Ambassador Program and intentional family engagement practices.
Noyd also presented with fellow New York State Master Counselor Belinda Westfield, highlighting the Professional Learning Team they co-facilitate with the workshop named "The School Counseling Roadmap". They shared the PLT's handbook titled 'The School Counselor Roadmap: From Program to Profession', scheduled for publication in the coming years.
