Posted Date: 8/11/25 (2:46 PM)

The final week of the Windsor CSD Fine Arts Camp, and the 2025 Summer Program, began on Monday.
The 6th-8th-grade band musicians worked on sight-reading and started work on performing Attack of the Garden Gnomes.

The 5th-grade band continued their work on arrangements last week and began work on Power Rock.
Advanced Vocal singers performed UB40’s Sing Our Own Song, sang solos, and began their arrangement of the song, Dynamite.

Theater students began writing skits they will perform during the camp’s final day on Thursday.
Studio art campers are building birdhouses this week. On Monday, they researched bird species to choose a bird and design a birdhouse to attract that species.

Musicians in Modern Band picked their favorite chord and played the game, Pass the Beat Around the Room. Advanced band campers continued their lesson on the bass guitar.

Music Tech students explored the digital audio workstation GarageBand and toured the Windsor Central School District recording studio.

Campers in the Beat the Odds drum circle created rhythms based on their favorite color, animal, and food, shared kind acts they’ve performed or received, and talked about what they have in common after learning their favorite colors, animals, and food.
