Summer Program Rundown: July 13
Windsor Summer Program 2017 highlights for July 13:

Windsor Strong Academy:
Students continued their study of what makes a community strong by visiting with Judi Hess, Director of the Convention and Visitors’ Bureau of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce. More on the discussion is available here.

Basketball camp:
Today featured a 1-on-1 contest, 5-on-5 games, a shooting lecture and skills stations that allowed campers to improve ball handling, defense and other aspects of the game.
Today marked the end of the first week of the two-week camp. Next week will feature the same format but as players become more familiar with the camp they will have the opportunity to learn more strategy on areas such as running a fast break, attacking a zone defense and working the ball inside.
“I feel like this week we did a lot of the skill work. You can tell the game play has improved. They’re sharing the ball better and the team defense is better,” said Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Duncan Paddick.

Knight Lights:
Today’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subject was chemistry. Students studied the science behind bubbles before making some of their own.
Also, some students continued to learn Spanish through using colors. Students also created their own Salvador Dali-inspired works of their own.
