Students from all three elementary schools in the Windsor district participated in the 40th annual Poetry and the Children Day at Binghamton University. They were some of about 500 children to present their poetry at the event.
11 students from AF Palmer Elementary took part: Claire Beattie, Gabriella Hans, Madalyn Pessarchick, Dacia Whiting, Alexa Brown, Kendall Rough, Paige Smith, Howard Tarbox, Joey Hatala, Aubrey Dixon, and Allison Greene.
14 students from Weeks Elementary participated: Vanessa Lehr, Ethan Fisher, Christopher Plain, Gabriella Ackley, Makayla Vanderpool, Kenna Frederick, Eli Scales, Elizabeth Hopkins, Sophia Chen, Marissa Yeager, Kenadie Dunlap, Garrison Calta, Isabella Quick, and Ella Stonehouse.
13 students from Bell Elementary also took part: from 2nd Grade Lyndsey Gardner, Emily Flagg, Allison Wisnieski, Claire Griffin, Trey Webb. From 3rd Grade, Dylan Calandra, Keagan Griffith and Shannon Lippa. From 4th Grade Mikyah Warren, Cooper Kinger and Ella Maxian. From 5th Grade Belle Indelicato and Sydney Angelo.
