Talent at Weeks on Display at Variety Show
"Why is the library the tallest building in town? Because it has the most stories."

If you liked that joke you would have loved the C.R. Weeks Elementary School Variety Show. Singing, gymnastics, juggling and the comedy stylings of co-hosts Sidney Crisanti and Lizzie Hopkins highlighted the fun-filled afternoon. In all there were 25 student acts.

"It was really fun, just being able to see everything, all of the talent." said Crisanti, the outgoing Student Council president.

"I liked to see everyone and didn't know all they could do. It just amazed me with their voices," said Hopkins, the incoming Student Council president.

Mrs. Houseknecht's and Mrs. MacNamee's kindergarten classes each sang a group song. Then it was time for the individual and duet performances. Some of the highlights included Hunter Ellis' puppet show, Amelia Jenson's piano playing of the "Irish Wedding Dance" and Alanah Gibson singing "Issues".

In all, these are the students who performed in the show: Crisanti, Hopkins, Karissa Felton, Jasmine Adorno, Morgan Marks, Jenson, Gabe Soundararaj, Noah Cappelli, Jaydaka Lehr & Peyton Stoeckel, Abby Marks, Ariel Bleil, Christina Sanguedolce, Jayden Smith, Sharone Soundararaj, Nicole Dunkailo, Samantha Reed, Kayley Hayes, Kenadie Dunlap, Anastasia Elmer, Gibson, Raydin Ransom, Paige Beavers, Drew Diesel, Robert Kidwell, Madison Strawn, Hailey Ryan and Aubrey Frederick.

"I thought it was fantastic. It was my first at C.R. Weeks and it was terrific," said first-year Weeks principal Kristin Beriman. "Even having the students emcee the whole show - it was great seeing the skill they have."
