Lindsley Commits to SUNY Oswego
Windsor Central High School senior James Lindsley announced his commitment to play baseball at SUNY Oswego Wednesday. At SUNY Oswego, Lindsley will major in Technical Education.

“I’ve been to a couple of schools and Oswego had the spark for me. It was nice, it felt like home,” said Lindsley. “It’s definitely stress-relieving to have it over. It just feels good, finally.”
“I could talk forever about Jimmy’s athletic ability, but what truly makes him special is his character,” said WCHS baseball coach Nate Mills. “He’s without a doubt the toughest kid I’ve ever coached. Whether on the mound or at the plate, there’s not a situation he can’t handle.”

Lindsley has played for three years at the varsity level on the WCHS baseball, basketball, and football teams. Lindsley earned 5th-Team All-State honors in football.

“I’ve been coaching for 30 years and Jimmy is one of the best athletes I’ve had,” said WCHS football coach Tim Hogan. “He’s a true leader. He’s the type of kid who can hang out with a freshman and then hang out with a senior. I haven’t had a lot of kids like that.”

Lindsley was a member of the All-Conference teams for baseball and basketball. Lindsley has also been a High Honor Roll student at WCHS.
