Monday marked the start of the final week of the 2022 Windsor CSD Summer Program. Elementary campers continued to rotate throught art, STEM, and gross motor activities. Water week is the theme for the elementary camps. Water activities will take place at Bell Elementary Tuesday, Weeks Elementary Wednesday, and Palmer Elementary Thursday.
Bowling and field hockey camps opened on Monday. Windsor bowling coach Bob Pflanz is placing an emphasis on fun this week.
“We’re making sure they’re having fun and making new friends. We’re teaching them about the arrows on the lanes and how to hit their spots,” said Pflanz.
Field hockey players focused on developing fundamental skills on Monday as they took part in shooting and dribbling drills. They also played small games, one-vs-one, two-vs-two, and three-vs-three, to put their skills to use.
