Palmer Students Jump Past Fundraising Goal
Students at AF Palmer Elementary raised almost $2,000 for the American Heart Association thanks to their Jump Rope Challenge. The results far exceeds the students' original goal of $500.

"This is part of our 'Year of Caring' theme at AF Palmer that we have been teaching the students through our GLOW program," said Danielle Saraceno, Palmer's Character Education Coordinator. She and Physical Education teacher Mike Potenza organized the fundraiser.

Students raised money through donations and pledges and jump roped during PE class.

"A huge thank you to the community and family and friends of Palmer students for donating to this wonderful cause," said Saraceno.
