Dear Windsor School Community,
On Monday, January 11, 2021, we were notified by the Broome County Health Department (BCHD) that the district has four confirmed cases of COVID-19: three involving students at Windsor Central High School, and a fourth involving a staff member at Windsor Central Middle School. Information regarding these individuals’ identity cannot be released. We ask that you please respect these individuals’ privacy. They will be placed in isolation for the mandated number of days.
If there was a person in direct or proximate contact inside of the school or off the school campus, they will be placed in quarantine. The district is assisting the Broome County Health Department with a contact-tracing investigation.
We will continue to monitor this situation and will notify staff and families immediately of any interruptions to the school schedule.
