Growing Leaders
Students Windsor Central Middle School and High School competed against several other FFA (Future Farmers of America) chapters in various leadership development contests at Walton High School.
 
These include prepared public speaking, a poster presentation, extemporaneous speaking, or FFA creed recitation. Several Black Knights students earned top-five finishes in each contest. 

WCHS students who advanced to the substate competition are Garrison Calta, Ayden Swingle, Anna Marie Westbrook, Faith Putney, Ava Platner, and Natalia Ciborowski. 

Below are the results for Windsor Central Middle School students moving on the substate competition.

Also, FFA members from across District 4 participated in a day of service. Students made 84 travel pillows, each containing a book that will be distributed to first responders, counselors, and foster care organizations for children experiencing trauma. 
 
Winners will compete at Substates at Schuylerville CSD on the March 18th against the winners from 22 other FFA chapters in hopes of making it to States.
