UPK and Head Start students at C.R. Weeks Elementary have begun the Families and Community unit of study, and who better to kick it off than those in our responsible for keeping us safe and healthy?  

 

 

 

The Eastern Broome Emergency Services EMTs visited C. R. Weeks Head Start and UPK classrooms this month.  Mr. Darrick Darling and Mr. Thomas Lias described their role as EMTs, explained some simple procedures and equipment, did a short heart rate demonstration, and allowed students to tour their brand new ambulance.
