A Message from Knight Pack

The following is a message from Knight Pack:

Windsor Knight Pack to Hit Huge Milestone!

When Alexis Green was a 7th grader at Windsor Middle School she had an idea for sending food home to students in need.  Six years later, Green is a senior at Windsor Central High School and President of the Windsor Knight Pack Club. She never dreamed that Knight Pack would be so successful, but it will hit the 100,000th item mark in the next few weeks. That is 100,000 food items that have been collected and donated to Windsor students in need.

“Looking back, I knew that Knight Pack would be important and I wasn’t sure exactly how to make it work, but it has surpassed any goals that I had set. I am so happy to have this happen before I graduate.  Having it be a service club lets me know that it will continue for years after I graduate” said Alexis Green.

Knight Pack currently has about 20 members and the other officers are Sydney Feeko, Andrea Marble, Trista Evans, and Cortney Briggs.

“It’s a humbling experience and makes me realize how fortunate I am,” said Sydney Feeko who also helps deliver Knight Packs to the elementary schools.
