Bell Students Bring Cheer, Voices to Seniors

5th graders as well as students from Mrs. Gaige’s 8:1:1 class at Bell Elementary sang a medley of carols for residents at the Stratmill Apartments on Thursday.

“The people there were really sweet and caring. I’m glad we made them happy. We made their day,” said 5th grader Ella Bowles.

“They were generous and they liked our singing a lot,” said 5th grader Kaden Sienko.

While the students and residents seemed happy to be in each other’s company, the children also enjoyed something else at the event.

“It was fun. They were nice and I liked the cookies,” said Aiden Figura.

“We made people happy  with our singing and it might be the only chance we ever have to do that,” said 5th grader Eisley Leonard.
