Good work in the classroom led to pizza and fun for three dozen students at Weeks Elementary, thanks to the Binghamton Devils.

Teachers nominated students who performed well in the classroom, academically or otherwise. Those students earned a free ticket to the February 1 Binghamton Devils game and a pizza party with team mascot Devil Dawg on Wednesday at Weeks Elementary. 

 

 

“Teachers selected the students. It could have been because of good grades, good behavior, getting involved in the school, whatever they wanted to emphasize,” said Binghamton Devils Ticket and Corporate Sales Representative Justin Karpowich. 

“I didn’t even know about this. I was just doing my usual thing and suddenly I got this card that said I could go to the Devils game,” said 4th grader Ella Deyo.

The students will also receive a certificate and drawstring backpack.
