Library of eBooks & Audio Books Available to Windsor Students, Teachers

Windsor students and teachers now have digital access to a full library of eBooks and audio books thanks to OverDrive.

Readers can choose titles based on collections, reading level and subjects. Subjects include fiction, nonfiction, juvenile, science fiction and fantasy, and young adult. Titles currently available to Windsor students and teachers range from upper-elementary level to young adult.

Benefits for teachers include the ability for eBooks to be used in the classroom and displayed on white boards and projectors. Students can also read independently anywhere and anytime in a browser or through the OverDrive app.

“I think the greatest advantage to using Overdrive for students is that they can access a book or audio book at any time on almost any electronic device,” said Windsor Central Middle School librarian Teresa Brandt.

Students and teachers can access their accounts using their school-issued email addresses and passwords. To access OverDrive or to download the app you can go to http://windsorcsd.lib.overdrive.com. Digital titles will automatically return at the end of the lending period.
