Middle School Students Collecting Donations for Soldier Care Packages

Do you know someone who goes to Windsor Middle School? Help that student give troops serving overseas a piece of home by donating goods for care packages the students will mail to soldiers on September 11th.

This drive is part of a 9/11 Day of Service at Windsor Central Middle School. In addition to mailing out the care packages students will also deliver donuts and cider to local first responders.

Students are looking for the following items for the care packages: travel-size toiletry items, shampoo and body wash, beef jerky, entertainment items such as cards, books and movies, notes, letters and cards of thanks.

You can bring items to the Windsor Middle School Main Office or send in with your Windsor Middle School student to put in their advisory box no later than September 10th.
