Meal Deliveries Dec. 23 & 30

Please read the message below from Dr. Jason Andrews, Superintendent of the Windsor Central School District, regarding meal delivery to families on December 23rd and 30th.

Dear Windsor families,

The Windsor Central School District will deliver seven days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches to your home on Wednesday, December 23rd as part of the United States Department of Agriculture’s commitment to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students for the entire school year.

These meals are fully funded by the federal government, and are no cost to families. We understand that not every student will need these meals over the winter recess. However, many will. We ask that all families accept these meals, whether they will be your child’s main source of nutrition, or simply supplement what you already have in your home.

The district is also formulating a plan to deliver additional meals to your home on Wednesday, December 30th.  If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact my office at 655-8216.

I hope you all get to enjoy the spirit of the Holidays with loved ones and we look forward to seeing your children in the new year.

Sincerely,

Jason A. Andrews Ed. D
