Dear Windsor School Community,

 

On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, we were notified by the Broome County Health Department (BCHD) that the district has confirmed cases of COVID-19 involving a student at Palmer Elementary School and a student at Weeks Elementary School. Information regarding these individuals’ identity cannot be released.  We ask that you please respect these students’ privacy. These people will be placed in isolation for the mandated number of days.  

 

If there was a person in direct or proximate contact inside of the school or off the school campus, they will be placed in quarantine. 

 

We will continue to monitor this situation and will notify staff and families immediately of any interruptions to the school schedule. We appreciate your patience and cooperation, as we know this is a serious matter of great concern to many of you.
