The Windsor Central School District is holding a special vote on Tuesday, November 24th on a bond proposition that would allow the district to purchase three large buses at a cost not exceeding $380,000. State aid would cover 89.1% of the cost of the purchase. There will be a public hearing on the bond proposition on Tuesday, November 17th at 6pm at Bell Elementary.

The district is seeking to replace three large buses. One has a current mileage of 221,981, the other 180,763, and the third 169,516.

The transportation department maintains a fleet of 45 vehicles to transport students to and from our schools as well as out-of-district student placements, athletic events, special activities and field trips.
