Windsor Student-Athletes Meet Olympic Gold Medalist

Six Windsor student athletes heard words of wisdom from a three-time Olympic gold medalist. The group, along with Windsor Athletic Director Chris Durdon AD, varsity girls basketball coach Megan Touhey and varsity girls volleyball coach Scott Symons, attended the 13th Annual Celebrating Women in Athletics Luncheon at Binghamton University on February 26.

The group heard from soccer player Shannon Boxx. Boxx won gold for the US Women’s National team in 2004, 2008 and 2012. After her presentation, Boxx posed for pictures with the Windsor contingent.

The Windsor student-athletes who attended (from left to right in the picture) were Riley Minor, Morgan Bryant, Hanna Hagerman, Samantha Sova, McKenna Corbin and Larrisa Balachick.
