Kindergarten Graduation at C.R. Weeks

44 kindergarten students at C.R. Weeks Elementary were able to throw their caps in the air as they celebrated their graduation and move to first grade.

“I am amazed at their growth this year. They have grown academically, behaviorally and physically. Growing and changing, that’s what kindergarten is all about,” said kindergarten teacher Tara MacNamee.

The following students graduated from Mrs. MacNamee’s class: Elijah Button, Charlotte Depersis, Coby Christian, Jaclyn Frederick, Anderson Decker, Elena Kohlbach, Shamiih Gheen, Claire Lehr, Braeden Guthrie, Kimberly Merwin, Logan Oakley, Delanie Newman, Alexander Quick, Katelyn Reed, William Walton, Lily Roberts, Michael Weber, Annabella Thompson, Finnegan Williams, Evelyn Volkert and Anna Williams.

The following students graduated from Mrs. Jill Houseknecht’s class: Anthony Cannistra, Hannah Adorno, Nolan Colpitts, Ilia Bronson, Matthew Elliott, Railee Brown, Thomas Hong, Melaina Clapper, Cashton Howell, Lillyan DeGroat, Ashton Portnorsnok, Sidney Guarino, Cassius Ray, Averie Kerwin, Lucas Safranek, Elin MacNamee, Kayden Snyder, Harleha Miller, Elijah Stonehouse, Kelsie Orcutt, Eli Urda, Lucille Singleton and Grayson Wilcox.

“I’m sad to see them go. They’ve grown so much. I’m sure they will go far in life and follow all their dreams,” said Mrs. Houseknecht.

“They are going to do amazing things in first grade. They are ready for the challenge,” said Mrs. MacNamee.
