They all are on their way to impoverished communities around the world thanks to your donations!! Throughout the winter, Bell Elementary School Student Council held several different sales and fundraisers. The money raised was matched by Student Council, and the $700 grand total was used to purchase a water buffalo, llama, sheep, goat, and flock of chickens through Heifer International. This organization, “…links communities and helps bring sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty. Our animals provide partners with both food and reliable income, as agricultural products such as milk, eggs and wool can be traded or sold at market.” The donation funds raised locally will go to help people all over the world, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
