"The Addams Family" Presentation

WINDSOR DRAMA CLUB and MUSIC DEPARTMENT present:
THE ADDAMS FAMILY

The eccentric, morbid, quirky, fun-hearted Addams family — patriarch Gomez (Ryan Kirgan), his wife Morticia (Jjenna Romain), their children – beloved daughter, Wednesday (Nikki Indelicato) and son Pugsley (J.Caleb Kulon), Grandma (Samantha Sova), Uncle Fester (Josh Schellinger), and servant Lurch (Owen DuBois) — are celebrating their yearly ritual of summoning their ancestors from the dead.

As they do so, they explain to the audience what it means to be an Addams: one must have a sense of humor, passion and a taste for death. From the Addams family crypt emerge the ghosts of their ancestors, dressed from all different time periods.

Their beloved daughter is now an eighteen year-old young woman who is ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke (Adam James), a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family — the most un-Addams sounding person one could be! And to make matters worse, she has invited the Beinekes (Maralee Bixby, Sajid Kabir) to their home for dinner.

In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change. Windsor High School’s spring production features a cast, crew, and pit band, with wonderful scenery, costumes and choreography. This musical has a fun score, engaging characters, and a smart, poignant story.

The production is under the direction of Mrs. Lynn Szigeti, with assistance by Ms. Christina Taylor, Mr. Robert Morano, and Miss Lauren Kovacic. Performances are Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $8.00 reserved seating and $10.00 at the door. Secure your tickets through any cast member or by contacting Mrs. Christine Keesler at the high school at 607-655-8250.
