Codey Anderson Wins Drone from Raymond Corporation

Codey Anderson won an RC Quadcopter Drone from a raffle at Raymond Corporation during Manufacturing Day on October 5, 2017. A representative from Raymond delivered the prize and a personalized letter, congratulating Codey and wishing him luck in the future.

Codey was part of a group of 12 students from Windsor and BOCES were part of the Black Knight contingent to Raymond Corporation’s annual Manufacturing Day. The group included welding, engine mechanic and Heavy Equipment Recreation Operation (HERO) students.

Students had the opportunity to tour the facility as well as speak to Rick Harrington, Raymond’s Vice President of U.S. Manufacturing. They also spoke with Raymond associates about their career path in manufacturing, took part in interactive demonstrations, including a virtual reality trainer, and had one-on-one conversations with people who work in STEM and manufacturing fields daily. Students also visited the company’s job booth to learn about opportunities in the company.
