Windsor CSD Wins Utica National's School Safety Excellence Award

For the tenth straight year the Windsor Central School District has won Utica National's School Safety Excellence Award. Windsor is one of 152 districts and BOCES in New York to win the award in 2018 at the Titanium with Honors level, the highest distinction among the Utica National awards. 
 
Categories Utica National studies in determining its awards include bullying prevention programs, playground safety and other areas. These categories are measured using specific, quantifiable surveys. In earning the distinction, the Windsor CSD won $500 to go toward furthering safety efforts.
 
"Safety and health concerns continue to be a priority in our school districts," said Brian Saville, Resident Senior Vice President in Utica National's Educational Institutions Unit. "Districts that go above and beyond to provide a safe, healthy and focused culture for learning are to be applauded, and we're pleased to count Windsor Central School District among them."

We're honored to earn this recognition from Utica National for the tenth straight year and are committed to continuing to do everything we can to make the Windsor Central School District a safe, nurturing place for students," said Windsor CSD Superintendent Dr. Jason Andrews.
