Thank You, Voters

The Windsor Central School District thanks the members of the community after voters approved the 2018-2019 school budget. 77 percent of voters approved the District’s spending plan, while over 67 percent supported a second proposition on the ballot which will allow the District to purchase a 6.7-acre parcel of land across the street from Windsor Central High School. The District will use this parcel as a land lab to expand the Ag in the Classroom program and other career pathways.

Also, current Board of Education members Margo Kibbler and Kevin Truman ran unopposed in being reelected to the Board.

“Thank you to the voters of the Windsor Central School District,” said Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jason A. Andrews. “This budget will help us continue our mission of equipping our students with 21st-century skills while preparing them for careers and college. The land acquisition will greatly enhance the several career pathways we are developing.”
