The Windsor Central School District partnered with The Confucius Institute at Alfred University to offer an Exploratory Chinese Program. The Confucius Institute at Alfred University, created in December 2008 with support from the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), promotes Chinese language and culture through education, helping residents of New York State to understand China today. During the spring semester of this past school year, Huan Cao (Clair) a Chinese teacher of English visited our schools.  Clair arrived at Alfred in early April and will be in the United States for one year.  She provided exploratory Chinese language and cultural information to our students in grades K-12.
